A pie night

Not a typical spring day, today was filled with cold winds and dark clouds. A day that begs to end snuggled in blankets with warm pie!

So that's what we did, we had pie for dinner and dessert.

I made a couple changes to this recipe by adding chopped zucchini and mushrooms. Instead of making homemade dough I just bought frozen pie crust sheets from Trader Joe's cause sometimes that's what working moms have to do.





With the left over sheet of pie crust we made mini apple pies. Mia loves using this apple corer, peeler, slicer!
